HR360 TechX vs Gusto
Gusto is a payroll bureau. It is built to calculate pay, deposit payroll taxes, and file employment returns. HR360 TechX is a workforce workspace for people, time, leave, and payroll runs. It does not file those returns.
What is different
- Gusto’s product is built around paying employees and filing payroll taxes. HR360 TechX does not file Form 941, Form 940, W-2s, or 1099s.
- HR360 TechX payroll setup includes a USA payroll type and weekly, biweekly, and monthly schedules. The employer still registers with the IRS and the state.
- Time, attendance, and leave live in the same workspace as the payroll run. That does not replace Gusto’s tax filing or direct deposit service.
Choose a bureau if you want a vendor to file and deposit payroll taxes. Use HR360 TechX if you want the people, time, leave, and payroll-run record in one place and you will file the returns yourself or through a separate filer.
